SERDANG, February 29, 2024 - The University Putra Malaysia Student Entrepreneurship Cooperative Berhad (KOSISWA UPM) held its 7th Annual General Meeting (AGM) in a hybrid format at the Center of Entrepreneurial Development and Graduate Marketability (CEM) here today, aiming to appoint new Board Members of the KOSISWA UPM for the year 2024/2025.

Final-year student of the School of Business and Economics (SPE), Muhammad Afig Iskandar Bin Adrel has been reappointed as the Chairperson of KOSISWA UPM for the session 2024/2025.

He, who also served as the Secretariat for Entrepreneurship of MPP UPM 2023/2024, said that this new leadership team is expected to work together to further advance KOSISWA UPM in this session by adding several more business activities and boosting KOSISWA's visibility among UPM students.

"The newly appointed Board Members will be provided with training to enhance their skills in cooperative management and administration, particularly in business management, finance, programs, and activities," he added.

Meanwhile, KOSISWA UPM welcomed 3 new faces to the Board of Members, namely Pang Khong You, Deputy Chairman; Ms Nur Suhaila Binti Juharei, Secretary dan Siti Nur Syafiqah Ramli, Deputy Secretary.

For the year 2024, KOSISWA UPM will focus on new businesses, such as organizing Professional Certificate Training such as Art Makeup Artist (SKM2), while also striving to enhance the marketing of existing businesses, including Bicycle Workshop and Cemara Coffee Cafe, which are its business icons.

Furthermore, KOSISWA UPM also provides various training for its members, including Cooperative Development Seminars, Human Capital Courses, and Entrepreneurship Courses.
