Social Entrepreneurship NLP Program in Jogjakarta and Solo

NLP Entrepreneurial Social in Jogjakarta and Solo Program

 

Muhammad Zakaria Bin Zarkasi and Nur Fatini Binti Muhammad Amin is a UPM student who has been selected to participate in the NLP Program of Entrepreneurship Students: Social Entrepreneurship at Jogjakarta and Solo, Indonesia on 11 - 17 February 2018. The program was organized by University Malaysia Student Entrepreneurship Council (MAKMUM) and taking Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) approach as one of the new approaches in entrepreneurship. The program involved 19 students from 15 Public Universities and involved officers from MAKMUM and Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM), Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK) as well as Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM).

The program started with NLP theoretical training at the Fifth College, UPM for 2 days and subsequently visits to the Agro Tourism Agency to see the effectiveness of integrated farming undertaken by entrepreneurs and local communities involving the integration between ruminants, aquaculture, plantations, restaurants, bakeries, fishing ponds and steel production in an efficient ecosystem.

Participants are also exposed to cooperative management approaches and developmental aspects as well as entrepreneurship planning adopted by Universiti Sebelas Maret, Solo that have successfully boosted their reputation as a leading entrepreneurship university in Indonesia and they have been brought to entrepreneurial strategic location to practice NLP learning and application during the course of business. On average, participants take a demographic and neuro approach and linguistics for the NLP approach. Participants also made AirAsia souvenir sales during a return flight to Malaysia.
